There are direct FLIGHTS from London, Paris and Madrid, as well as from other Spanish cities such as Barcelona, Valencia, and Alicante on the Eastern coast; from Malaga and Almeria on the South; from Tenerife and Lanzarote in the Canary Islands; and from Ibiza and Palma de Mallorca in the Balearic Islands.

The BUS company ALSA offers several daily trips to and from different points in Asturias, coming and going to most Spanish cities, and to and from several internatonal European destinations.

There is also a FERRY service between Plymouth, in Southern England, and Santander, in the neighbouring region of Cantabria.

RENFE is the railroad company in charge of daily TRAIN service to Madrid, as well as to other national and international destinations.
