Spanish in Asturias

Immersion is the fastest and most successful way to fluency in a language. The pedagogy at our language center, THE LANGUAGE WORKSHOP, is based on the experience of more than 15 years teaching Foreign Language to people of all ages, with different personal and professional motivations, and drawn from different educational contexts. Our teaching is supported by SOLID TRAINING at prestigious academic institutions. Our classes are the product of such knowledge and experience.

Our program includes the following:

• Pick up from and return to your terminal in Asturias.
  We meet you at the Asturias airport, train or bus station, or Ferry in Santander and bring you back for your departure.
• 20 hours per week of Spanish instruction.
  You can sign up *individually for one-to-one sessions, or put together your own group of 2 to 6 students. Your group must be homogenous in level and objectives. You describe what your group´s objectives are, and we DESIGN a course EXCLUSIVE to your needs. Whether it is Spanish for personal or professional use, we teach you how to efficiently communicate in the context of your choice. We also provide instruction in applied methodology for TEACHERS of Spanish, and classes in Spanish LITERATURE, HISTORY and CULTURE for advanced levels. Different arrangements for the instruction time are possible as well if you are interested in a more intensive course of 30, 35, or 40+ hours a week. Also included is EXCLUSIVE USE by your group based on double occupancy bedrooms of:

• Flat in town
  Recommended if you prefer to walk to stores and to other convenient town services, including public transportation.
• Village house
  Recommended for people who wish to enjoy a more rural community.
• Lodging in a Spanish home
  Recommended if you wish to be more closely acquainted with Spanish daily life. Besides room with this option you have the choice of full or half board. *(Students who sign up individually will be hosted in family lodgings).
